Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The main study parameters will be myocardial metabolic energy status and aerobic capacity.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary, cardiac mechanical function, pulmonary hemodynamics (HF only), skeletal muscle energetics, and blood pressure response to the Valsalva maneuver, will be assessed.
