Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients =18 year with a self-rated nausea score of = 3 on a VNRS scale (0-10) in the ED.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: A known allergy to isopropyl alcoholInability to inhale through the noseA reduced level of consciousness or any other medical condition hindering following study instructions and providing informed consent. Inability to speak, read or write in Dutch or EnglishPregnant womenpatients undergoing active oncological treatmentPrior treatment with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) inhalation before arrival at the emergency department for the current presentation (e.g. prehospital administration by ambulance services)
