Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - The diagnosis of DEE-SWAS has been definitively established at some point; this includes children for whom the diagnosis was established prior to the examinations performed within SEIN. - A suspicion of DEE-SWAS by a pediatric neurologist at SEIN is reflected in a referral to the Clinical Neurophysiology and/or Psychology department. - A Clinical Neurophysiology consent form for retrospective EEG data analysis is already available or is being obtained, including additional consent being obtained for the use of the Neuropsychological data.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patients older than 18 years at the time of the EEG/Neuropsychological examinations - Children with Landau-Kleffner syndrome (specific subgroup of children with DEE-SWAS, in whom language function is primarily affected).
