Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: For ataxia patients:Clinical diagnosis of spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA6, SCA3, or SCA27b)Age between 18–75 yearsFor healthy controls:No history of neurological or psychiatric disordersAge and sex matched to the patient group
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: PregnancyGeneral contraindications for MRI: presence of metal implants or other MRI contraindications (e.g., pacemaker, aneurysm clips)Severe claustrophobia or inability to remain still during scanningAdditional exclusion criteria for ataxia patients:Acute medical conditions that could interfere with MRI or study proceduresInability to comply with study requirementsOther neurological disorder, or another disease that significantly influences gait
