Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children aged 6–18 years, accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.Eligible participants are those exhibiting symptoms consistent with PMTS, such as behavioral changes, anxiety, avoidance of healthcare, re-experiencing symptoms, or heightened stress in medical settings, and for whom undergoing medical procedures is not feasible without the occurrence of these complaints.Children have a vivid memory of the event, because the interview questions will focus on the moment the event took place. Also the parent interviewed, is the parent who was at the traumatic event.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children and parents or legal guardians of children with PMTS, who do not have sufficient proficiency in the Dutch language at a B1 level (required for meaningful participation in in-depth interviews).Children not remembering the traumatic event.
