Age
18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who will undergo a surgery that includes cervical lymphnode dissection.Patients who are 18 years and olderPatients who speak dutch

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients younger than 18 years oldPatients who can not speak DutchPatients who had radiotherapy on the head and neck region or previous surgery on cervical lymphnodes.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Proteins (amyloid and fosforylated tau, as part of a neurodegenerative proteosome) in tearfluid samples.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Correlation between neurocognitive test performance (Hopkins Verbal Learning Test [HVLT], Controlled Oral Word Association Test [COWAT], Trail Making Test [TMT A/B]) and concentrations of neurodegenerative proteins (Aß, tau) in tear fluid or lymphatic fluid.
