Placement of a newly fabricated POM removable partial denture, compared with the patient’s existing CR-CO removable partial denture.

18 Years to 99 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: In order to be eligible to participate in this study, a potential participant must meet all of the following criteria:Age =18 years.Mentally competent and able to provide written informed consent.Cognitively able to complete questionnaires.Wearing Co–Cr removable partial denture on daily basisClassified as ASA physical status I, II or III.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: A potential participant who meets any of the following criteria will be excluded from participation in this study: - ASA physical status IV.- Active periodontal disease or untreated caries.- Mental incapacity, dementia, or any other cognitive impairment that prevents valid assessment and/or informed consent.

| Patient-reported outcome (oral health related quality of Life): Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-14 NL) scores to identify the impact of the prosthetic appliance on the oral healt-related quality of life. Functional outcome: Masticatory efficiency assessed by standardized chewing tests. Clinical outcome: Number of repairs and maintenance requirements during long term follow-up. Patient preference: Selection of either the Co-Cr or the POM framework denture for continued use after the trial period based on parameters such as experienced comfort, retention, ease of cleaning, aesthetics etc. | — |
