Eligibility
Age
18 Years to 99 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Implanted with cochlear implant of Advanced Bionics on one side = 18 years old Minimum of 6 months experience with their cochlear implant Speech understanding score (CVC phenome test) in quiet of at least 50%
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Disorders other than hearing impairment that can affect the study results, such as psychiatric disorders or physical disorders that would limit their ability to undergo testing (e.g., movement disorders or blindness).Not able to complete 3 hours of consecutive testing Not fluent in Dutch Prelingual deafness
