Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age < 18 yearsVisited the ED in the period of April 2022 until March 2026

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have objected against re-use of their data will be excluded from the analysis.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The main variable of interest is the working diagnosis of the patient at the end of the ED visit based on routinely available EHR data.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Additional collected data include patient characteristics (i.e. age, gender), and markers of disease severity such as vital signs, diagnostic and therapeutic resources, hospital and ICU admission.
