2 Years to 17 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age < 18 years at the time of TENS initiationTENS for (chronic) pain in the period 2020-2025.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No TENS initiation/ no trial started after prescription.

Design outcomes

Primary

Measure	Time frame
The primary objective is to estimate the proportion of patients who continue to use TENS after the 2-week trial period.	—

Secondary

Measure	Time frame
Secondary objectives include:To estimate the proportion of patients who still use TENS at 3 months and at 6 months.To estimate the proportion of patients who report perceived benefit at 3 months and at 6 months (e.g., improved/worse/no change).To quantify the change in pain intensity from baseline to 3 months and from baseline to 6 months.Indications and subgroup differences: to describe the clinical indications for which TENS is prescribed. To explore whether continuation of TENS, or if feasible the pain trajectories, differ by indication and key subgroups (e.g., sex, age group, pain duration, diagnosis category).	—
