Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary objective is to investigate which inflammatory disturbances, both in the myocardium and in the circulation, are associated with structural and functional changes in the coronary microvasculature and myocardium in patients with HFpEF.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary objectives are to determine:the relationship between  the activity and/or type of inflammation with cardiac fibrosisthe association of CMD with  cardiac fibrosisthe correlation of circulating inflammatory markers with in-situ myocardial inflammationof the association of epicardial adipose tissue with myocardial inflammation and CMD
