Interventions

This study introduces the short assessment tool (SAT-TMD). The SAT-TMD is derived from the DC/TMD and ICHD-3 criteria &nbsp

and is designed to quickly and easily detect and classify&nbsp

painful TMD or HA-TMD in children and adolescents. The SAT-TMD has little or negligible burden on clinicians and participants (children and adolescents) of this study. The SAT-TMD&nbsp

includes 4 anamnestic questions and 4 clinical items.The most used and recognized method for TMD classification and diagnosis is the DC/TMD, which served as the gold standard for comparison. Recently

initiated by the International Network for Orofacial Pain and Related Disorders Methodology (INfORM). The DC/TMD for children and adolescents takes 1 hour to administer including questionnaires and a

Age

2 Years to 17 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: In order to be eligible to participate in this study, a participant (child or adolescent) in a headache clinic must meet all of the following criteria:-      Child has headache complaints-      Child has been referred to a headache clinic-      Classification process ICHD-3 during intake or evaluation moment in the headache clinic-      Child (6-9 years of age) or adolescent (10-18 years of age)-      Parent and Child/adolescent must have a good command of Dutch-      Parent and Child/adolescent have both signed the informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Child has a neuromuscular disorders - Child is received an oncological diagnosis - Child had received head and/or neck surgery in the past 6 months - Child has a cognitive impairment
