Age
16 Years to 64 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Unilateral ACL injury with signs of partial or complete ACL rupture on MRI and during physical examination (at least one grade IKDC difference in Lachman and anterior drawer test between healthy and affected leg). Range of motion: extension minimal of 0 degrees and flexion >110 degrees.Minimum of 16 years old

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To identify differences in rotational velocity and acceleration between a healthy knee and an ACL injured knee using gyroscope and accelerometer data of a wearable during exercises.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To correlate measurement data from the wearable with experienced knee instability by the patient.To correlation measurement data from the wearable and the static laxity (IKDC) grading given by the surgeon.To explore by means of a machine learning model if gyroscope and accelerometer can be combined into one outcome parameter that best reflects knee laxity and instability.
