Age
18 Years to 99 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adults with a diagnosis of idiopathic PD according to the Movement Disorders Society guidelines;A subjective history of freezing of gait (positive answer to the question: ‘Do you sometimes feel as if your feet are glued to the floor?’)Ability to walk for three minutes unaided;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Presence of deep brain stimulation (DBS), as this affects the EEG signal.Co-morbidities that significantly impact walking (orthopaedic or rheumatological ailments).Severe cognitive impairment hampering the ability to comply to the study protocol.

| Secondary outcome measures include physiological and subjective arousal measures, including skin conductance, heart rate variability, EEG-based measures of arousal, and self-perceived arousal according to the self-assessment manikin (SAM).
