Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome is the level of stress-related mental health symptoms, assessed repeatedly using the Four-Dimensional Symptom Questionnaire (4DSQ; Dutch: 4DKL).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary parameters capture broader stress-related outcomes that support the study’s secondary aim of identifying predictors of functional impairment and stress resilience in working individuals. These include:Absenteeism, measured via self-reported sick leave frequency, duration, and reasons.Burnout symptoms, assessed with a 12-item tool covering exhaustion, detachment, and cognitive/emotional impairment.Fatigue, evaluated using a brief 4-item scale focused on subjective fatigue.Functional capacity, measured with a 12-item questionnaire covering daily functioning across multiple domains.Need for Recovery, assessed with a validated 3-item scale reflecting post-work recuperation needs.Stress resilience, operationalized as preserved mental health under stress, based on residual-based stressor reactivity.
