Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Several sub-studies were conducted as part of this research. Each sub-study had specific inclusion criteria tailored to the nature of its data collection. The criteria for each sub-study are explained below.Sub-Study 1: Interviews with Stakeholders For this sub-study, the following professionals were included:Have at least one year of work experience within the organization.Have fully completed the training on the Hersenz treatment program.Are (or have been) involved in the implementation or execution of the Hersenz program.Sub-Study 2: ROM Measurements The following groups were included in this sub-study:All clients in treatment within the Hersenz program at both measurement points (moment 1 and moment 2).Relatives of clients who were involved in treatment at both measurement points.Sub-Study 3: Interviews with Clients and next of kin For this sub-study, the following professionals and/or administrative staff were included:All clients in treatment within the Hersenz program at both measurement points (Moment 1 and Moment 2).Next of kin of clients who were involved in treatment at both measurement time points.Sub-Study 4: Cost Inventory For this sub-study, professionals and/or administrative staff were included who:Have an understanding of the time, resources, and staff deployment within the Hersenz program.Are involved in planning, implementing, or recording the financial aspects of the treatment program.Sub-Study 5: Interviews with Project Leaders For this sub-study, project leaders were included who:Are or have been responsible for implementing and/or coordinating the Sustainable Hersenz treatment program interventions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The following exclusion criteria were used for participation in the sub-studies within this study:General exclusion criteria (for all sub-studies):Persons unable to give informed consent.Persons with an insufficient command of the Dutch language to participate in interviews or complete questionnaires.Specific exclusion criteria per substudy:Substudy 1: Interviews with stakeholders.Professionals with less than one year of work experience within the organization.Professionals who have not (yet) completed all training sessions of the Hersenz program.Substudy 2: ROM measurements.Clients who were in treatment at only one of the two measurement times.Relatives of clients who were not involved in treatment at either measurement point.Sub-study 3: Interviews with clients and relatives.Clients who were in treatment at only one of the two measurement points.Relatives of clients who were not structurally involved in treatment at both measurement points.Sub-Study 4: Cost Inventory.Individuals without relevant knowledge or involvement in the financial or organizational aspects of the Hersenz program.Sub-Study 5: Interviews with Project LeadersIndividuals without direct responsibility for implementing or coordinating the Hersenz treatment program.

| This study focuses on several primary outcomes that, together, provide insight into how the Hersenz treatment program functions and its impact. These outcomes are tailored to the nature of the sub-studies and cover subjective experiences and objective data.Financial Costs: A cost inventory will be conducted to gain insight into the time, staffing, and resources invested in providing the Hersenz treatment program. These data will provide input for a cost-benefit analysis and can inform policy decisions.Quality of life: Based on the ROM measurements, the perceived quality of life of clients (and, where possible, their loved ones) will be examined at two measurement points. This includes the physical, psychological, and social dimensions of functioning, such as self-efficacy, mood, energy, and social relationships. | — |
