Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Data will be collected for future research around DBS therapy. The exact purpose is not known at this time. The most important endpoint will be effective DBS therapy, defined as percentual seizure change compared to baseline before DBS therapy.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary study endpoints are other parameters that are important for the patient and neurologist to define an effective DBS therapy, for instance:Percentual reduction of the frequency of use of emergency medication to stop seizures. Number of hospital admissionsSide effects (such as depression/mood swings)Medication withdrawalAdverse events
