10 years after THA or TKA consisting of a clinical visit and X-ray

18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: underwent a total knee or total hip arthroplasty (TKA or THA) approximately 10 years agoAge 50 years or older at time of TKA or THAGiven written informed consent for the HAKA II trial to use their data for further research 

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Other indication for surgery than osteoarthritisSurgery was bilateralDeceasedRevision arthroplasty of hip or knee

Design outcomes

Primary

Measure	Time frame
Factors which have a role during the decision-making of the orthopedic surgeon, like anamnesis, physical examination, X-rays, medical history, patient preferences and clinical intuition. The strength of the influence of these factors will be registered on a scale from 0 to 4. The same outcomes will be registered during the case-vignette study.	—

To get more insight in the cases, also the complaints and abnormalities on the X-rays will be registered.	—
