| Reliability We examine whether the screener (SCIL 18+) is reliable. This means that the questions fit well together and measure the same concept. We also check whether the test results remain approximately the same when someone takes the test again after six weeks.Validity We investigate whether the SCIL 18+ can accurately indicate who likely has low intelligence and who does not. We do this by assessing how well the test distinguishes between people with and without low intelligence, as measured by an intelligence test (WAIS-IV-NL). We compare the SCIL score with the Total IQ score (TIQ) and the General Ability Index (GAI) from the intelligence test. We also examine how strongly the SCIL score correlates with the TIQ and GAI scores. | — |
