Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: In order to be eligible to participate in this study, a subject must meet all of the following criteria:They exhibit reactive aggression regulation problems. For adults that are 18 years and older: they have voluntarily signed up to participate and have completed the informed consent form, as is described in section 10.2. For adolescents between 12-18 years old: they and their parent or legal guardian have agreed for them to participate in this study and have both completed an informed consent form. The healthcare professional responsible for the patient indicates that the patient is both physically and mentally capable of participating in the study and that participation will not harm the patient in any way.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: A potential subject who meets any of the following criteria will be excluded from participation in this study:The patient shows proactive aggression, instead of reactive aggression. The healthcare professional indicates that experiencing VR could negatively impact the patient's well-being.The patient has epileptic symptoms.The patient suffers from an active psychosis episode.The patient is expected to transition to another form of care or be discharged within four weeks. The patient has no mobile phone.

| Secondary outcomes are measured in the same way and include anger (BAQ), interoceptive awareness (MAIA-2), coping strategies (FEEL-KJ), and sensory processing (AASP). Semi-structured interviews with participants and healthcare professionals offer additional insights. Data will be analysed using descriptive analyses, visual analyses, and linear mixed models. | — |
