Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of long COVID with fatigue complaints. Individuals must be 18 years or older.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants will be excluded when pregnant.

| Change in brachial artery diameter, blood flow and shear rate (SR) in response to handgrip exercise will be measured in all participants by assessing dynamic vascular ultrasound during isometric handgrip exercise. These experiments will take 30 minutes, are non-invasive, and represent a low burden for the participant as it involves local, handgrip exercise. Muscle contractile properties (maximal voluntary contraction (MVC), muscle fatigability, early- and half relaxation time (Rt), and maximal force rise (MFR)) will be assessed by inducing involuntary contractions of the quadriceps muscle by means of electrical stimulation. These experiments take 45 minutes to complete (only 2 minutes of neuromuscular stimulation), represent a non-invasive and low-burden protocol, and involve involuntary contractions meaning that the participant is instructed to remain in a seated position on the chair with electrical stimulation to evoke contractions. | — |
