Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Informed consent should be given by the patient or their legal representativeConfirmed diagnosis of genetic or syndromic obesity disorder (ORPHA: 77828 or 240371)4 years of age or older

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are deemed poor candidates by the research team for the study based on additional medical concerns that greatly influence energy expenditure, such as a malignant tumor or anorexia nervosaIf the parents/guardians think that the chance is high that their child will not be able to follow the research protocol (for example to lay still for ~20 minutes or to drink the labelled water).Pregnant womenPatients using drugs to treat the obesity or hyperphagiaPatients who do not have a freezer at home
