16 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Being able to read and write in Dutch and/or English - Being enrolled as a student at one of the participating universities - Being 16 years of age or older - Having access to a PC or mobile device with internet access - Provide informed consent before participation - Score at least 1 standard deviation above published norms on the “Concern over Mistakes” subscale of the Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale which is a score of = 29.

Difference in perfectionism scores between the intervention and control group at posttest as measured on the Concern over Mistakes subscale of the Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism scale (FMPS-CM)(Frost et al., 1990).

Difference in perfectionism scores between the intervention and control group at posttest as measured on:Personal Standards subscale of the Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism scale (FMPS-CM)(Frost et al., 1990)A Perfectionism visual analogue scalePatient Health Questionnaire - 9, PHQ-9 (Kroenke et al., 2001).Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 scale, GAD-7 (Spitzer et al., 2006).Perceived Stress Scale-4, PSS-4 (Cohen, 1983).Mental Health Quality of Life questionnaire, MHQoL (Van Krugten et al., 2022).In addition, we will obtain demographics (e.g. gender, age, nationality), whether the participant currently receives any kind of treatment for psychological problems (medication, psychotherapy, both, neither).For the intervention group, we will measure scores on:The Client Satisfaction Questionnaire, CSQ-8 (Larsen et al., 1979)The questions about e-coach evaluation are based on the Working Alliance Inventory for Guided Internet Interventions (WAI-I) (Gómez Penedo et al., 2020)We will report on the number of modules completed, the number of logins onto the platform and the perceived effort put into the modules as rated by the e-coaches on a scale of 1-3 (“Below average” to “Above average”).
