Eligibility

Age
No minimum to 64 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children of three months and older, who are admitted to the PICU for at least one night, and not ventilated (invasive and non-invasive) are eligible for inclusion in this study. 

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: We will exclude children who receive intravenous medications which affect the circadian rhythm (e.g. GABAA-receptors, corticosteroids), children with a primary neurological diagnosis upon admission (e.g. traumatic brain injury, meningitis, encephalitis, epilepsy), or any condition that affects the validity of the measurement with an accelerometer.
