Interventions

Blood samples will be collected via peripheral venipuncture using a double-wing cannula. In the pilot study, 60 ml of blood will be collected per participant, distributed into 6 centrifugation tubes (

Age
18 Years to 64 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - male and female participants - age between 18 and 64, - no previous medical history; ASA1, and - no recent use of anticoagulants or antibiotics.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - smokers, - participants with a history of anti-coagulant or anti-inflammatory drugs in the last 3 months, - systemic diseases or having a history of any infection or antibiotic therapy in past 6 months, or - consent form couldn’t be obtained

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary endpoint consists of the pattern and level of cumulative growth-factor release (e.g. PDGF-AA, PDGF-BB, VEGF, TGF-ß1, EGF, IGF-1). 

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary endpoints include tensile strength, stiffness of PRF membranes, and cell viability.
