Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
We primarily aim to assess implementation fidelity of the conversation tool by professionals working with (expectant) parents in vulnerable situations in their daily practice. To assess this we will use the questionnaires):self-reported number of usages of the conversation tool (post-training questionnaire);acceptability of the conversation tool (post-training questionnaire);self-reported frequency of clients (i.e., none; minority; half; majority; everyone) with whom professionals discuss health risk behaviors and behavior change (i.e., smoking cessation, alcohol use cessation, psychical activity, and healthy dietary behavior), and identity and need for autonomy in relation to health behavior change (pre- and post-training questionnaires).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcomes focus on determinants associated with the implementation of and satisfaction with the blended training and conversation tool:fidelity: completion rates of eLearning, time taken to complete the eLearning and the number of professionals attending group sessions will be assessed (log book)self-reported skills, attitude, outcome expectancies, and self-efficacy regarding conversations about health behavior (change) (pre- and post-training questionnaires) and the use of the conversation tool (post-training questionnaire)satisfaction with the blended training (focus group)satisfaction with conversations about health behavior (change) (pre- and post-training questionnaires)
