Interventions

Survey on Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs (ASPs) among medical physicians/healthcare professionals specialized in antimicrobial therapy for patients in ICU

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Medical practitioners of certain specialties (such as intensive care practitioners, internal medicine practitioners (specialised in infectious diseases), clinical microbiologists, hospital pharmacists and nurse practitioners) all of them preferably subspecialised in infections/antimicrobial therapy in patients in the ICU.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Medical practitioners not involved in (treatment of) infections/antimicrobial therapy in patients in the ICU.

Information on the currently used ASPs at Dutch ICUs subdivided in specific categories of ASPs (e.g. protocols, monitoring, diagnostics, pharmacological strategies).	—

The survey will also produce insight in Dutch intensivists’ knowledge on ASPs and the current state of other ongoing initiatives with respect to ASPs	—
