Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Individuals with a phenotypical diagnosis of Down syndrome.Age 40 years or younger at the time of enrollment.A current (probable) diagnosis of depression (with or without catatonia) or DSRD as diagnosed by a physician with expertise in this patient population.Availability of a parent or caregiver who has known the patient premorbid and can provide proxy-reported outcomes regarding the patient's behavior over the past six months.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: A previously diagnosed genetic, metabolic and/or neurological disorders which can contribute to the neuropsychiatric symptoms.No informed consent contained from the patient (if legally capacitated) or their parents, guardian or legal representative (if not legally capacitated).
