65 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged between 65-85 years BMI between 18.5-30 kg/m^2 No physical limitations Maximal one intensive exercise training per week

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smoking Diagnosed musculoskeletal disorders Use of any medications known to affect protein metabolism Chronic use of gastric acid-suppressing medication or anti-coagulatns Unstable weight over the last 3 months Diagnosed GI tract disorders or diseases Blood donation in the past 2 months

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary endpoint is to identify differences in optimal protein intake deriving from a protein with a high quality (milk) and a protein with a low quality (wheat).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
De secondary outcomes are the determination of the estimated average requirement (EAR) for both milk and wheat protein, and the recommended daily allowance (RDA) for both milk and wheat protein.
