Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. Determination of optimal DTI MRI settings for swallow musculature imaging 2. Determination of reproducibility in healthy volunteers 3. Determination of reproducibility in HNC patients 4. The quantification of radiotherapy-induced damage of the swallow musculature on DTI MRI post RT as compared to DTI MRI prior RT.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Generation of a DTI MRI sequence aimed to visualise and quantify the muscle fibres of the swallow musculature.
