Age
18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Fluent in Dutch, preferably being their native language. - Mentally competent, to make the decision of joining the study (following the CCMO definition on *wilsbekwaam*). - Implanted with a CI from Advanced Bionics (HiRes90K MS) at least on one side. - 18 years of age or older. - 1 to 3 years experience with their CI.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Impedance of more than 10 kOhm. - Disorders other than a hearing impairment that could affect the study results, such as psychiatric disorders or physical disorders that would limit their ability to undergo testing (e.g., blindness or depression). - Prelingual deafness / implanted with CI prelingually

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary study parameter is the precision of the automatically detected eCAP thresholds.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary study parameters are the correlation between the behavioural hearing threshold and the automatically detected eCAP thresholds (accuracy) and the effects of the artefact rejection methods and pulse shape of the stimuli on the eCAP measurements.
