Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The main study parameter is a standardized scale measuring performance of IADL tasks before (baseline) and after treatment (post treatment). IADL tasks will be divided into multiple steps using the GMT method. These step will be assessed using three categories: 1) competent; 2) questionable/ineffective 3) deficit, using task-specific assessment forms.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
A secondary study parameter is the subjective experience of cognitive deficits of participants, measured by the Goal Attainment Scale (GAS) and is performed before the intervention (baseline), immediately after the intervention (post-treatment) and 4 months later (follow-up) . Goal attainment scaling is a mathematical technique for quantifying the achievement of goals set, used in rehabilitation. GAS is described as a method of scoring the extent to which patient*s individual goals are achieved in the course of the intervention. In effect, each patient has own outcome measures, but this is scored in a standardized way as to allow statistical analysis.
