Primary study outcomes will be the mean (SD) temperature and the mean (SD) pH measured in the uterine cavity of women from a Dutch population at the time of the menstrual cycle an embryo normally implants, and the average concentration (mean ± SEM) of at least thirty-seven components present in fluid aspirated from the uteri of the same women at the same time.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The difference between the primary results and previous results from the uteri of Iranian women and the difference between the primary results and the current human embryo culture conditions for human IVF, determined with an independent T-test (temperature and pH) or one-way ANOVA (uterine fluid components).
