Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants who have participated in earlier rounds of the Doetinchem Cohort Study, and a new random sample of participants (men and women), drawn from the register of inhabitants of Doetinchem, men and women aged 40-60 years of age to replenisch the cohort again with younger age groups.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Not being able to participate due to physical or mental reasons (judgement of the respondent), active withdrawal

Primary

Measure	Time frame
The study focuses on measurements relevant for studying healthy ageing. Main focus is on lifestyle and metabolic risk factors, as well as physical and cognitive functioning. Samples of blood, urine and faeces are being stored for future studies.	—
