Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • PD diagnosis according to the UK Parkinson*s Disease Society Brain Bank criteria (A.J. Hughes, 1992) • Able to walk properly (Hoehn & Yahr scale: Stage 2-3) • Able to perform activities of daily living without assistance (self-reported) • Written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • (other) neurological, orthopaedic or motor disorder (other than PD) • Use of medication influencing movement (other than for PD) • Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) score

Measure	Time frame
To classify activities (walking, sitting, standing, lying) we will use time and frequency domain accelerometry based parameters. To determine intensity of movement (movement quantity) as well as movement quality, we will use accelerometry and gyroscope-based parameters.	—
