Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The main parameter in this study is the IC at rest. The accuracy of IC measurements is assessed by the comparison of the unsupervised IC measurement at rest (IC_rest,unsup) to the supervised IC measurement at rest (IC_rest,sup). Data will be visualized in a Bland-Altman plot to assess the similarity between the unsupervised and supervised settings.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The accuracy of IC measurements after MPT will be assessed by the comparison of the unsupervised IC measurement after MPT (IC_MPT,unsup) to the supervised IC measurement after MPT (IC_MPT,sup). Data will be visualized in a Bland-Altman plot to assess the similarity between the unsupervised and supervised settings. DH is defined as *IC% and is calculated using the formula: *IC%= (IC_rest - IC_MPT) / IC_rest with IC_rest being the mean IC before MPT and IC_MPT the mean IC after MPT. The difference in inspiratory capacity (*IC%) is calculated to assess the similarity of IC decline after MPT in a supervised setting compared to an unsupervised setting. A Bland-Altman plot will be made to assess the similarity between the two settings. An ANOVA for repeated measurements will be performed to assess the accuracy of the repeated IC measurements. The difference of IC_rest,unsup and IC_rest,sup and the difference of IC_MPT,unsup and IC_MPT,sup will be analysed overtime within the participant.
