Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 64 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Hearing voices at least once a week, fear as predominant response to voice-hearing, negative impact of voice-hearing on patient's life

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Unable to participate in structured treatment / to fill out questionnaires (due to severe problems in reality testing, self-regulation, cognition, intellect of speech), insufficient mastery of the Dutch language, estimated IQ

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary parameters: -The amount of change on the 'Negative Impact' subscale of the Voices Impact Scale (Strauss et al, 2018). -The amount of change on the PTSD Checklist for the DSM-5 (PCL-5) (Weathers et al, 2013).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary parameters: -The amount of change on the Beliefs About Voices Questionnaire - Revised subscales (Chadwick et al, 2000). -Change in other voice characteristics will be measured with visual-analogue scales, and a question about the number and frequency of voice hearing.
