Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients will be eligible if they fulfil all of the following criteria: - The patient has histologically proven HNSCC. -. The patient is at least 18 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No histological proven HNSCC Younger than 18 years

The presence, number, type and specificity of tumour-specific immune response in the peripheral blood, tumour-draining lymph nodes and the tumour of patients with different types of HNSCC.	—

The secondary objectives of this study are to assess: - The potential rise in HPV16 positive HNSCC in the Netherlands during the last decades. - Tumour-specific immunity in relation to chemotherapy. - The relation between tumour-specific immunity and clinical outcome.	—
