ankle fusion arthrodesis

Interventions

Ankle arthrodesis is performed in the usual way. At the end of the operation, when patients still have anaesthesia, ESW will or will not be applied to the ankle joint, according to randomization.

Eligibility

Age

18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 18 years or older, good understanding of the Dutch language and willing to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: previous ankle arthrodesis or inability to walk.
