Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: CI users: measurable residual hearing in the contralateral ear with thresholds of 100 dB HL or better at 125, 250 and 500 Hz Normal-hearing group: not more than 40 dB loss across frequencies
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: CI users and normal-hearing subjects should have no disorders other than a hearing impairment that could affect the study results, such as psychiatric disorders or physical disorders that would limit their ability to undergo testing (e.g., movement disorders or blindness). Normal-hearing subjects will be excluded if hearing thresholds are too high.
