Inclusion criteria: - Adult, >= 18 years - A minimum of 12 natural teeth present in the mouth - Willing and able to give written informed consent in the Dutch language

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - ACTA dental students - Employees from ACTA or Reade

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The main study parameter is the presence or absence of TMD and the presence or absence of (serologic precursors of) RA.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary study parameters are the microbiological composition and immuno-biochemical characteristics of several oral niches, and to take into account the level of health of the periodontal tissues in the mouth.
