Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Parent-child dyad. Low socioeconomic status. Parent: speaking Dutch at home / informed consent signed for both the parent and the child Child: between 6 and 11 years old / speaking Dutch at home / willing to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Parents: higher education (bachelor/master/PhD degree) Children: patient with known gastrointestinal problems Children: Prior dietary advice by a healthcare provider Not meeting the inclusion criteria.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The main study parameters are: * Implicit measures (for children and parents): Difference score (difference in response latencies between congruent and incongruent test blocks: IAT-D score) for each IAT; determine effect size for each IAT * Explicit measures (for children and parents): Difference scores on feeling thermometer; scores on semantic differential scales; scores on explicit UTI-belief scales * Correlations between scores of implicit and explicit measures: between children*s scores only and between children*s and parents* scores * Interaction patterns (conversational; verbal and non-verbal) between children and parents during evening family mealtimes * Identification of co-existence of specific interaction patterns (conversational; verbal and non-verbal) and either positive or negative associations between healthy, tasty and liked foods (as indicated by scores on implicit and explicit measures)
