Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: We will include;1. Cases from who we have received theirs and their parents informed consent. In addition, they must meet all the below stated inclusion criteria: - Admitted to an ER as a result of alcohol intoxication - Age 14-17 years at the time of ER admission - Caucasian ethnicity (i.e., European decent), defined as having at least three Caucasian grandparents);2. Controls from who we have received theirs and their parents informed consent. In addition, they must meet all the below stated inclusion criteria: - Age between 14-17 years - Caucasian ethnicity (at least three Caucasian grandparents) - Consumed at least 1 alcoholic beverage in their lifetime - Alcohol use during lifetime remained below the level considered binge drinking: * boys never *5 drinks/occasion. *girls never * 4 drinks/occasion.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Main exclusion criteria cases: - Non-Caucasian ethnicity - Age outside 14-17;Main exclusion criteria controls: - Non-Caucasian ethnicity - Age outside 14-17 - Never consumed alcohol - For boys, *5 drinks/occasion. - For girls, * 4 drinks/occasion.
