Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients that are having symptoms of a pneumonia and were referred by their general practitioner for additional imaging with chest CRX

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Pregnancy - Younger than 18 years - Unable to give informed consent - In case subject does not want to be informed about additional findings

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Our primary objective is to establish device diagnostic clinical performance of ULD-CT in order to proof it is more accurate to detect pneumonia when comparing to standard CXR. We will ask 3 different radiologist to evaluate both examinations on whether or not the subject has air space consolidation, and if yes, where it is located. Location of the consolidation can either be in right upper lobe (RUL), middle lobe (ML), right lower lobe(RLL), left upper lobe (LUL) or left lower lobe (LLL). There is no cut off for the extend of consolidation that is seen in subjects lung. Each radiologist evaluates both examinations of the subject (paired group). Data outcome will be stored in MACRO. Results regarding our primary objective will be binary outcome results (yes or no consolidation).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Our secondary objective is to describe additional findings that were seen on both modalities. Each radiologist has to describe if there are additional pathologic findings visible on both CXR as well as ULD-CT examinations. Options are: 1. no additional finding; 2. solid leasion; 3. pleural effusion; 4. nodules; 5. Atelectasis; 6.other
