Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children with Cerebral Palsy: 1. Age 6-16 2. A Gross Motor Function Classification System score of I (only children with walking disabilities and, as such, receive gait training) and II -IV 3. Femur length between 0.21-0.47m 4. Ability to walk independently with the aid of parallel bars 5. Ability to signal fear, pain or discomfort 6. Compliance and ability to follow simple instructions 7. Children should meet the general requirements for the training with the driven gait orthosis Lokomat (Hocoma AG, Volketswil, Switzerland);Healthy walkers: 1. Age 6-16
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children with CP: 1. Co-morbidity that can affect the results of the study (e.g. pre-existent problems in leg function or a progressive neurological disorder). 2. Treatment with botulinum toxin during the previous six months. 3. Orthopaedic of neurological surgery during the previous year. 4. Unstable epilepsy (*2 attacks/week). 5. Participation in other scientific studies at the moment of measurement.;Healthy walkers: The participant doesn*t suffer from neurological, orthopedic, visual, somatosensory or vestibular disorders, or any other disorder that is known to affect gait behavior or muscle activity.
