12 Years to 17 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Between 12 and 18 years old Depressive symptoms or selective mutism or an affected first degree family member Children and parents provide written informed consent Dutch speaking and reading Own a smartphone

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Not able to speak or read Dutch No smartphone to install the ESM app (Mypanel)

Main study parameters/endpoints: The primary focus of our study is to recognized a subsample of adolescents at risk for depression among the general population: clinical patients and at risk adolescents (this study), are therefore compared to healthy controls (data collected).
