18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - apparently healthy women, during a non-complicated single pregnancy - BMI between 18 and 25 kg/m2 before pregnancy - good control of the Dutch language - Willingly to stop taking multivitamins, folic acid, vitamin D and fish oil supplements if taken

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - hyperemesis graviradrum - vegetarian or vegan diet - diabetes mellitus type I;criteria for individual ending of the study: - premature birth (gestational age less than 37 weeks) en birth after 42 weeks - complications mother - pregnancy diabetes - pre-eclampsia, placental insufficiency, intrauterine growth retardation

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary aim of the study is to find the dose of vitamin D during the pregnancy and lactation that leads to mean breast milk DHA contents of at least 0,7g%.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secundary aim of the study is to find the dose of vitamin D during the pregnancy and lactation that causes a breast milk vitamin D content of 35 nmol/L. Increasing breast milk of vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B12, magnesium, iodide and selenium to 0.48 nmol/L, 5.26 nmol/L, 310 pmol/L, 1,4 nmol/L, 0,8 µmol/L and 16.3 nmol/L respectively.
