Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: HIV-1 infection use of combination antiretroviral therapy for >=6 months and last 2 viral loads

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Unable to understand spoken and written Dutch or English language • History of radiation therapy in the head and neck region • Edentulism

Independent endpoints: Periodontal Inflamed Surface Area (PISA) Dependent endpoints: markers of immune activation and hemostasis and composition of the oral microbiota.	—
