Eligibility

Age
2 Years to 11 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: age 5-10 years, Intelligence score within the normal range (>=85), born before 32 weeks of gestation. Children are included if they have no severe handicaps: normal vision with or without glasses, normal hearing and no severe motor handicaps.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: severe behavioral problems, severe motor problems, no parental informed consent.

Design outcomes

MeasureTime frame
For the experimental task, movement time, number of errors, distance and fluency (jerk) will be assessed. For three of the background tests (WNV-NL, AWMA, MABC-NL), standard scores will be used for analysis. For the attention test (Bourdon-Vos), speed and accuracy will be used. For the questionnaires, total (standard) scores and possibly subscale score will be used in analysis. Repeated Measures ANOVA*s and/or SEM analyses will be used to test for learning effects and the effects of the covariates.
