18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Symptomatic radiographic osteoarthritis of the knee Radiographic osteoarthritis, Kellgren and Lawrence 1 or 2 Flexion contracture of 5 degrees or more

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Medial or lateral instability of the knee, Symptomatic bilateral osteoarthritis of the knee Previous osseous surgery to the lower extremity Symptomatic osteoarthritis of other joints in the lower extremity

Knee symptoms, measured with the Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS)

Gait parameters; the duration of full extension and quadriceps muscle activity during midstance.
